One of my favourite Jordan stories (there are so many)I ever heard was from David Robinson. Robinson was drafted No. 1 by the Spurs but had to serve two years in the Navy before joining the league. He met Jordan before he joined the league and all Jordan said to him was, ” I can’t wait till you get to the league so I can dunk on you…. like all the other big guys”. The first game Jordan played against Robinson was the 89 NBA All Star game about a year later. Jordan dunks on Robinson early in the game and if you watch the video you can see him mouthing “I told you so” to Robinson as he runs back down the court. Too much.
