Isn’t it odd how people feel the need to announce that they won’t be posting for a while, or apologise after the fact when they haven’t.
(that second link is to a post on this site, in case it seems I’m pointing the finger).
On the other hand, I really like pmarca’s “coming soon” section - might have to get me one of those. :-)
