Another way to control your diet is to marry a woman who is obsessed with organics, veggies, fruit and loves to cook!

I threw some fitness in on the side (some swimming & the odd run), cut out Mackey D's and I changed from being a skinny fat man to a skinny healthy man.

Next goal is to reduce alcohol consumption (if only slightly).

I was almost the same, I weighed in at 105kgs start of last year, then about august last year I got down to 75kgs, and have maintained around under 80 since then.

I was actually surprised how easy it is IF you control what you eat. It just happens.

Now I'm a lot more active, have taken up Parkour / Freerunning even! I now find I don't fade very easily and have lots of energy to burn, in fact I generally outpace my kids :-)

It's great. Good post!

Oh how I thought this would never apply to me.

Since moving to Singapore I kinda took an extended exercise break and am only now getting back into it.

I have real trouble with the controlling the amount I can eat tho, so finding healthy foods is the better way. That and I find it easier to run further than eat less. Exercise lets me eat what I want. ;)

Nice post - now I have to DO something about it.

One thing I like about living in the UK: I can do grocery shopping online. We're not tempted to buy crap food - or rather, nowhere near as tempted - so it's not usually in the house.

OK, except the odd bar of 80% dark chocolate. :) But those are fewer, and last longer, than before.
