Kobe Bryant was a basketball player in the NBA from 1996-2016. Unusually he played his entire career with the same club: The Los Angeles Lakers, winning five NBA Championships during that time. In 2006 he scored 81 points in a game against the Toronto Raptors - the second hightest number of points scored by a single player in a game.
He and his daughter were both killed in a helicoptor crash in 2020.
